Lake Rescue Chalet is located in the heart of Okemo Valley in south-central Vermont, just off of beautiful Route 100, one of the Green Mountain State’s designated Scenic Byways. At 216 miles, VT-100 is the state’s longest and prettiest state highway. Yankee Magazine named Route 100 one of the best summer road trips in New England, and with Lake Rescue Chalet as a base, you can run, walk, ride or drive on it every day!
The Lake House about a four-hour drive from New York City and about three hours from Boston. The chalet is across a dirt road from 200-acre Lake Rescue, the largest in a string of lakes connected by the Black River. Okemo Mountain Resort is 3 1/2 miles south (Jackson Gore base) and Killington resort’s Skyship lift is about 12 miles north.
